Produced, directed and starring Aamir Khan with newcomer Darsheel Safary in an astonishingly nuanced performance that earned him a 2007 nomination for Best Actor in India’s prestigious Filmfare Awards, it’s an Indian film that weaves a touching story about an 8 year old boy struggling with dyslexia until he catches the attention of a new art teacher. This inspired story features 7 Bollywood dance numbers, and was one of India’s top grossing theatrical releases in 2007.
