Support and Information for Parents of Special Needs Kids
We had our first show this week and it was quite successful if you ask me. We decided to have our first episode to be a meet and great type show so we interviewed each other and got to know each other also giving our listeners some background on who we are.
We discussed various topics this week from our children’s diagnoses, to steps to talk to the school about an IEP (Individual Education Program).
I hope you enjoyed our show too

Congratulations on your debut. I have kids on the weird end of the special needs spectrum and have a real hard time with getting IEP’s implemented for my boys.
Thanks so much Patrysha.
I am working on getting my sons teacher to be a guest on the show to help with IEP questions. It is tough when they don’t really meet the set requirements but still do need help.
